Stunning Lodge with Hot Tub on Private Lake

Beautiful lodge . Lovely owners . Extra lovely touch , a bottle of bubbly for my daughter’s 40th birthday . Positive: Spacious Well equipped Excellent location Negative: Nothing

Positive: Directions were exact, we were pleasantly surprised that the lodge has a view of a lake with ducks and geese and a beautiful fountain. Location was very private, facilities were fantastic. We had robes provided for the hot tub and it was very hot weather and fans were provided in each room which was great.

Very enjoyable, quiet and relaxing! Positive: The lodge was lovely, kitchen and living space was exactly what was needed for a girly weekend away. The host was exceptional. Negative: Whilst not a particular problem, if I was finding fault (and I really mean finding for fault!) the decking needed a lick of paint and a few more bedside lamps would have been helpful but did not impact the weekend away in the slightest.

Fabulous stay, despite being a little disappointed with the property. Positive: Very spacious, property soon got lovely and warm. Lots of kitchen equipment and cupboards. Negative: It needed some TLC and maintenance. There were lots of cheap cover up fixes. No attention to detail. Outside space was tatty, empty plant pots and unattractive peeling wooden furniture
